Artisan Aviation, Inc owns two Piper aircraft, hangared at Greater Rochester International Airport (KROC). The airport is a Class C towered field with multiple ILS and RNAV approaches, providing safety, and the ability to operate in low visibility/ceiling conditions. Artisan airplanes are kept in T-Hangars year-round with cabin heaters and web app remote-controlled electric engine pre-heaters.
Members share two well-equipped IFR Piper aircraft: a Warrior II and an Arrow IV. Both aircraft are equipped with Garmin 530 WAAS IFR certified GPS, autopilot, Strikefinders, dual nav/com & ILS, 4 place intercoms, standby vacuum and 460 Mhz ELT.
